Murmur
A Q&A system for talks: guests scan a QR code and ask the speaker anonymously, and the host answers live.
A closer look

About the project
Built for a speaker who takes questions from the floor at talks and sharing sessions, where most people would rather not raise a hand. It is shown here under a name of its own, with sample data, so you can try both sides of it.
Guests scan the event's QR code and land straight on the questions, with no app and no account. They ask anonymously, vote for what they want answered, reply to each other, and see the speaker's answers as they come. A banner at the top shows the question the speaker is on.
The host runs everything from a dashboard that updates as questions arrive: the most-voted first, one put on screen as it is answered, answers typed or simply marked done, anything unkind hidden. Each event has its own QR code to download, print or project, the evening exports to Excel, and other hosts are added from the same place. Every screen is in Chinese and English.
